Snug Rivulet

 Snug Rivulet


Today we walked around Snug Esplanade, crossed the highway to go through the cemetery, then down Taranaki Place onto the River track.

We walked upstream as far as we could then returned via the River track to the beach.

The river was mostly dry.

Bellerive Beaches

 Bellerive Beaches

We met at Kangaroo Bay and walked around Bellerive Bluff to Bellerive Beach. We went onto Second Bluff to a rocky outcrop where some people were fishing.

The return was along the cycle track and Queen Street.

About six species of shorebirds on these rocks














Someone caught a flathead.

There were 17 Ramblers. Lunch was at the Waterfront Hotel.
