Wellington Waterfalls

Wellington Waterfalls

We changed our plan slightly to take advantage of the rain we have been having, we went to look at Silver Falls and O'Grady's Falls.

It didn't actually rain, but the mist was quite wet and the trees were dripping.

Plenty of water rushing down this section of Brown's River

The mist and the noise were very dramatic

Risdon Brook Park

Risdon Brook Park

It was cool but clear and sunny for our first walk this term

We set off for an anticlockwise walk, taking a bush trail beside the dam and then veering off into the bush above the valley.

A couple from Jo.

A wombat was not happy to see us, and the wallaby was already gone.

The remnants of  farm yards and interesting sheep dip

We are nearly back to the regular track

These two latecomers were waiting for us in the shrubbery at the head of the dam.

Walking on the sunny west side.

We look happy to have made it all the way round.
