Seven Mile Beach 13/3/24

                  There were 15 Ramblers who enjoyed todays walk from Seven Mile to Roaches Beach and return.

                                                Lunch was at the Royal Hobart Golf Club

Today we started this walk from Fern Tree. From the playground to Silver Falls Track and down Bracken Lane bike track. After crossing Huon Highway we followed the Pipeline Track back.

Setting off through the playground and behind the church.

Here the group split, some taking a shorter option.

We were privileged to get a decent look at an obliging Bassian Thrush (Zoothera lunulata)

Down the zig zag bike track 

Onto the Pipeline Track past the aqueducts.

She didn't

There were 13 Ramblers. Lunch at Fern Tree Tavern.
