We met at the Howden Boat Ramp before walking along to the Powder Jetty, then up to Tinderbox Road. From here a left turn takes us to the bottom of Magazine Gully.

We expected warnings about potential explosions but ...

The explosives that used to be kept here were for road works and other civic building works in 1970s

Silver Falls flows into Browns River

These falls run into the Hobart Rivulet

There was 20 strollers, the weather was kind to us and lunch was enjoyed at the Fern Tree Tavern
