 Kaoota Tramway Track

We started from Lawless Road. It is quite a climb up to the actual walk, but with good views to the river.

Is it a car? Is it a jet? No, it's a water truck.

We find the entrance to the tramway

and the track levels out.

We turn back shortly after this cairn, there were wet boggy sections which we tried to avoid.

Back onto Lawless Road and the descent to our cars

There were eight Ramblers. Lunch was at Longley International Hotel.

Thank you for this walk Jo, it went well. The weather cleared for us but it was still a cool start. We warmed upon the climb to a lookout spot on Leslie Road

Going under Huon Highway

The track ahead is quite muddy and some gymnastic moves are required to keep feet dry

Heading up Leslie Road.

Back under Huon Highway

We look at the view, while they look at us

Return via Mount Pleasant Road

And the last section of the track takes us back to the start

We spent a few minutes looking around the cemetery

There were19 Ramblers altogether, lunch was at Kwanjai Thai.
