Manuka Hill 9th May 2018

Manuka Hill 9th May 2018

It is called a hill for good reason. A long steady climb, followed by a slippery steep zig zag to the top, then a relaxed descent through paddocks, bush and 'saggy' forest
.
Some interesting natural features and discoveries were made by by sharp eyed walkers.

Not our easiest walk but rewarded by lunch and barbecue at the home of Doug and Bubbles.

The things you find on the side of the road..

We walked about 5km and took an hour and a half
