Kingston and Boronia Beaches 6th June 2018

Kingston and Boronia Beaches 6th June 2018

Starting from Brown's Road end of Kingston Beach and then following the coast to Boronia beach. Return via paths and roads.

All set to go. A beautiful frosty but sunny morning

Kingston Beach with Boronia Beach in the distance.

Some debris from recent storms still waiting for collection

and after "grooming"

Some took the footpath rather than the beach.

Along the beach to the Sailing Club.

Before converging

The start of Boronia Beach Track (and architecture)

Mid track

Boronia Reserve

Looking north and south, gorgeous sky and coastline

The track can be hazardous but the intrepid Ramblers negotiate all obstacles

it needs to be recorded for posterity

Arriving at...Boronia Beach

Some gaze at the views

others investigate the geology

Little Penguins (also known as Fairy Penguins) nest in this area.

The birds need a helping hand and artificial burrows have been provided..

Local artists have been busy

 Some damage to fencing, storm?

and time to leave

 and head for lunch
