Brinktop Track

Brinktop Track
Richmond

A straightforward walk from The Bridge at Richmond.

Wood ducks on the Coal River under The Bridge

Coot

We set off eastwards to the start of the Track at Morgan St.

Spider legs disappeared and refused to reappear.

Anyone been able to find out the name of this pointed hill?

The track is the edge of a paddock, privately owned but fenced off under the line of shelter trees for the use of the community...and walkers like us.

The lettuce farm and THAT hill!

Approaching the area where we had been warned about copperhead snakes.

The top of the track with more views over the surrounding farmland

Spotted.. these cute little furry buttons ( Ptilotus spathulatus) Pussytails.

Mount Wellington (kunanyi) shrouded in smoke from the bushfires.

Shy echidna

Heading back the way we came
