 Yellow Boot Loop

(and Palmers Road)

Thank you to Jo who found this walk and led us on it today.

We met and started from the sports ground on Meredith Street, found a yellow boot and followed the path around the shore.

It was very foggy for much of the walk.

We walked to the top of the hill on Palmers Road, the sun was out and colour returned to the scenery.

The height of our walk, looking down to Port Huon.

We returned the way we came to see the scenery in a different, and brighter, light.

We found the other half of the loop, passing the Post Office, apple orchards and the cemetery. 

We enjoyed the gardens along Meredith Street.

There were 9 Ramblers, lunch was at the Kermandie Hotel
