A couple of weeks ago we started this walk but it as too ambitious for the time available, so this week we did the extra bit (and a bit more) and had time for a stroll round the Botanical Gardens. It is their 200 year anniversary and tulip time.

A small group took off uphill for a more attractive footpath.
The avenue dedicated to soldiers who didn't return from war.
And onto the mountain bike trail.
There is a radio station at the top of the hill, in the shrubbery.

Met up with a small group who had elected to take the "Joggers Loop" for the descent through Grass Gully.
