Peter Murrell Reserve

Peter Murrell Reserve

Starting from the Scarborough Road entrance we followed a winding track on fire trails and bush paths. There were birds and interesting plants to see, as well as a highlight or two.

Some signs of the erosion from May last year.

What is he doing in the shrubbery...it's Ok just getting a photo of the flood damage!

Perrins Bluff

Nesting boxes for the Forty Spotted Pardalote, unfortunately they haven't been evident in the area for three years, but the Striated Pardalotes are getting the benefit

Who has the coldest (or warmest) hands?

Anyone for the short cut.

Or the steep bit? The rocks were a beautiful patterned ochre colour.

Plant things looking artistic

We came this car park, rather early I thought, and sure enough...it was the wrong car park, but we met a couple of friends who had completed a separate walk, somewhat unintentionally, but still enjoyable.

A much anticipated highlight of the outing...

A pump station...don't forget your bathers

followed by this...

butterfly house?
circus tent?

and something floral as we neared the end

with a view of kunanyi Mount  Wellington.
