 Nierinna Creek

We met (most of us ) at Lawless Road, crossed the creek and set off down the track. We were rewarded almost at once with many orchids.

Moving on, through the fern glade and up above the creek.

Lots of these tunnels through the grass. Wombats?

There are several bridge crossings, with new signage for walkers, cyclists and horses.

Lots of trees and limbs down after winter storms, and some track work.

     We met with a couple of Ramblers who had started from     Burnaby   Drive.

We came to the junction with Perrins Road and some decided to retrace their steps, others carried on and noticed the refurbished steps

These steps made for easy walking down hill. 

At this point two Ramblers decided to keep going downhill and walk to our lunch venue

  I decided to turn back and enjoy the track in the other direction and incidentally miss out on a muddy section

                                                    

     Just born lambs

The track returning to Lawless Rd.

There were 16 Ramblers. We all met up again at Brookfields for lunch.
