Crossing Coffee Creek

An unexpected obstacle, safely negotiated with team work and  engineering solutions designed on the spot!

Howden Fire Trail after another lolly break

A curious plant, found/thought to be an introduced "weed" (Mormon tea bush). That was an informed guess but there is a plant Leptomeria drupacea mentioned in Guide to Flowers and Plants of Tasmania to be found at Peter Murrell Reserve.

A loop into the burnt bush

And onto Penny Trail

The Middle Fire Trail was a bit steep

Turned onto Lady Penrhyn Fire trail

Not sure why this sign is still on the gate...

The reservoir is empty

There were 21 Ramblers, lunch was the North West Bay Golf Club
