Berriedale

 Berriedale to Windermere Bay

It was a very cold day. We saw more birds that ever before, including a brolga!

Meeting at Berriedale beside the water with kunanyi Mount Wellington behind us.

Our path takes us past the Tracker Dog Memorial garden.

We noticed this group of Pelicans huddled together on the bay.

Going down the driveway that takes us to Windermere Track

The Pelicans moving off.

View across to Derwent Entertainment Centre

Wood Ducks

We have reached Knights Point Reserve

There were lots of noisy Musk Lorikeets in the gum trees...

...and a few Noisy Miners

The Memorial at Claremont Reserve. The plan was to continue to Cadbury's but we were distracted by the plight of a duck with its foot stuck in an oyster shell.

Native Hens

The bridge has several carvings, wonder who Thorp was.

The return walk.

Chestnut Teal

The surprise Brolga

Cormorants; Great Black, Black Faced and possibly Little Pied.

There were nice  reflections on the way back.
