Rosny Hill

 Rosny Hill

A bright and sunny day for a cicuit of Rosny Hill. We met at Kangaroo Bay and set off uphill. The planned return via the path was disrupted by track works.

Around the hill with views of Bellerive and the eastern shore.

Bellerive Quay

Arm End and Bruny Island

Bellerive Bluff

Beautiful old trees.

Around the hill and views of Hobart city appear with the backdrop of kunanyi Mount Wellington

The Tasman Bridge looked good in the sun

We emerge from the hill onto  Montagu Bay Road.

Yay!

The cars seem to be flying

We come to the first obstacle and need to walk along the road until we come to a place where we can access the path

On the path around Rosny Point

We are diverted up to the road again

Back to the path but not for long. The new path and landscaping looks very interesting

It became very warm for the last section as we approached Kangaroo Bay and headed for lunch

There were 16 Ramblers and lunch was at the Waterfront Hotel in Bellerive
