We met at the Signal Station and made our way down...then back up a section of the Bicentennial trail.

Down the road to find the gate and entrance to the walk

All downhill

Lolly break

The occasional glimpse of the river

We turned and went back uphill

Another sit down as it was a long way to climb back up. Also a chance to think about Lynne who isn't walking today but anyway....

The Signal Station comes into sight

Time for a sit and chat

and a look at the views of 

Ship Stern Bluff, Cape Raoul and Wedge Island just visible 

South Arm and Betsey Island 

Droughty Point and Tranmere

Northwards over the city with Mount Direction on the right

Making our way around to Truganini's monument 

A last loop onto the Truganini Track

There were 19 Ramblers. Lunch was at Soho Hotel.
