Natone Hill

 Natone Hill

Overnight storms and rain eased for us and we had a pleasant walk from Geilston Bay

Heading south towards Sunhaven Avenue

Up the road past blossom trees

Across Derwent Avenue and onto Natone Hill. We went clockwise.

Just before Tianna Road we headed upwards to get better views over Lindisfarne

Lindisfarne Bay

A glimpse of the bridge and Sandy Bay

Lolly break

Going down the zig zag track

We start to get views over the River Derwent and Hobart.

On the level

Cornelian Bay

Steps down to Paloona Street

Rainbow over Mount Nelson

They are quite artistic in Lindisfarne

To the Clarence Foreshore Trail

The wind picked up as we came around this corner

Street Library

Must be nesting time

There was track work being done and we were diverted up onto the road. We missed a bit of the foreshore but enjoyed seeing some gardens, a beautiful tree and another street library.

Lots of lemons

Unsure of the species of Eucalypt, enquiries are ongoing

Back to Geilston Bay

There were 16 Ramblers. Lunch was at Currency Cafe (there was cake and champagne too)
