North West Bay River

 North West Bay River

The rain held off mostly as we went up the road to Bett's Track. We followed it beside the North West Bay River to where the Cathedral Rock Track goes off. Lots of colourful fungi, and a few rocky sections to negotiate.

The start of Bett's Track which goes to Cathedral Rock.

Bright orange fungi with some myrtle beech leaves

Yay!

We have reached the turnaround point.

Myrtle Beech (Nothofagus cunninghamii)

Nearly back to the beginning

Down the road

Here is the animated map, it goes a bit mad at the end, no prizes for guessing why

Relive 'North West Bay River'

There were 16 Ramblers. Lunch was at the Longley International Hotel
