Tolman's Hill
Gathering on Chimney Pot Hill Road to check lunch numbers before we set off...
before levelling out. Most of us take a longer route through some bush
involving various approaches to the obstacle of a fallen tree.
Onward towards Tolman's Hill...
which we don't climb, but stop for a lolly break (thank you Jo)...
before turning right to head back to the entrance.
Some is uphill...
with views of kunanyi Mount Wellington...
and then rather steeply downhill
where we rest for a moment.
Some cannot resist the lure of an open gate!

We crossed the road and didn't head up the steeper track, but took the left and found some flowers etc.
