Birch's Bay Art Farm

Birch's Bay Art Farm

A lovely stroll through the farm looking at sculptures from previous years as well as current installations.

Gathering before the walk

This one nearly found its way into the boot of someone's car.

It is a working farm and we were curious about this crop of bright red fruit.

Guiding the way, even the arrows are sculptures

A musical accompaniment

Astroloma humifusum (cranberry bush)

This was created by a group called Wednesday Walkers (not us) and is composed of local timber species crafted into walking sticks.

The effects of climate change?

Judging by first impressions this was a tangle of random shapes that made no sense, but looked at from another angle...

The spirit of friendship and fun.
