Single Hill

Single Hill

We met at the Lauderdale Sailing Club for a walk uphill and across the side of Single Hill.

Heading along the coast path with lovely views across to the east

Roches Beach

Before we turned inland and started climbing

We reached our own particular high point with Single Hill still some way above, but we enjoyed great views

A lot of the grass appeared pink. Not a new species, just weedkiller dye.

The descent took us through light bush and along parts of Tangara Trail.
(Tangara is an aboriginal word meaning "to go")

Meeting up with the road again, just in time to avoid the worst of a cold shower of rain.

Some birds obligingly hung around for their photo
