Coningham ClifftopTrack
Via the sandstone rocks to Legacy Beach
We assembled in the car park, before setting off northwards (past a new toilet block under construction) through the bush
Lots of views across North West Bay
Onto Coningham Beach and along to the end where the rocks are accessible at low tide.
This rock sparkled in the sun
If you let them get you to recline on a rock...make sure your pockets aren't full of gloves and bags etc.
We reach the point where an unnamed creek flows into the sea, then return along the beach.
Looking down on the southern part of Coningham Beach
Bob found this seat and took a moment to admire the view
Tinderbox South Arm Bruny Island
The rest of us arrived and had a lolly break
Onto the beach... Yay!
At the southern end we passed (or visited) the Jackjumper toilet block then climbed the stairs to the Clifftop track
Lots of steps, but lots of views too
Legacy Beach, where we turned and walked back.
Some Ramblers had decided to rest on a seat and then return ahead of the rest of us, they thoughtfully left this message. It reads "GONE" but all that is visible outside the shade is "GO". so we did.
There were 11 Ramblers today, lunch at Snug Tavern.
