Sherwood Hill Reserve

Sherwood Hill Reserve

The forecast drizzle did not eventuate and we had a pleasant time as we made our way up Sherwood Hill and enjoyed a variety of wildflowers.

Heading off up the hill

Entering the reserve

More uphill!

Views across Grove

Plenty of puddles but no wading required today

Lolly Break

We come to a pond on our left, the sign to turn right soon.

The pink ribbon shows where we need to take another right hand turn

And then a left into the bush where we find a great variety of flowers including orchids

Once we reach a clearing it is time to start heading downhill with views to the Snowy Range

There were 18 Ramblers. Lunch was at Willie Smiths Apple Shed
