Rocky Whelan's Cave
Today's circuit takes us uphill from Fern Tree to Radfords Track and the cave, then descends via Woods Track and O'Grady's Falls to Bracken Lane.
We go through the playground at Fern Tree and take the track to the Fern Glade Track.
After crossing the Reservoir Track the climbing continues
Crossing Radford's track where a runner lost his life on the early version of the Point to Pinnacle race.
But our track levels out and is easy walking for a while.

Jo discovered that the secret escape route was not big enough, and even if it was there were some dodgy looking critters swarming at the other end.
Heading down to Pillinger Drive which we cross to find Woods Track

The trees were full of birds calling but we couldn't see them!
